Georgie Harfitt

Senior Coach

I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2016 and am currently at Claremont Fan Court School as Head of Lacrosse.

I began my Lacrosse career at 8 years old where I was playing pop lacrosse. My earliest and most memorable possession is my first wooden stick aged 11 which was extremely difficult to part with. I continued to senior school, Moreton Hall where I represented my school and county by 16. I then finished school and during my gap year started getting into other aspects of the game such as coaching and umpiring, at Packwood Haugh, Shropshire. I then moved my life up North to Scotland where I represented my university at first team level in my freshers year. During my second year I had a break from playing to concentrate on my coaching at St George's School, where I have been for the past 4 years. I then continued to play for my university again whilst juggling coaching and umpiring in my final years. In my final year, I did lots of umpiring in the Scottish leagues!

I am no longer Head Coach at Cobham, as I am doing a PGCE during the 2017/18 season but will still be coaching on Saturdays.
