Coaching Development

Heather was a member of Cobham Lacrosse Club when she was at school (2010-2015); she has also played for the Cobham First (Ladies) team. She played in the Guildford High School First Team 2013-15 and represented Surrey twice at U18 junior county level. In 2015, while still in Upper Sixth, Heather was selected for English Lacrosse’s Super League Lacrosse and returned again in 2016 to play in this league. Heather has played in Loughborough University Women's 1st Team 2015-17 and captained it in her second year at the University. She represented Junior Scotland at the 2015 World Championships and Home Internationals prior to that. She played for the Senior Women's Scotland A Team at the 2016 and 2017 Home Internationals, where she received a nomination for U24 Player of the Series. Heather will represent Scotland at the Senior World Championships at Surrey Sports Park in July 2017, and is working hard to match her skills to the honour. Heather is a qualified coach and umpire, and has worked on camps provided by English Lacrosse, Six by Six and Elite Sports, as well as doing some coaching at Loughborough University. She enjoys coaching athletes of all standards, and likes to bring a touch of sports science from her studies at Loughborough to help everyone improve their game – and have some fun!
