The training time for the First Team is the same as for all other age groups. The First Team is largely comprised of players aged 15 - 18 (Years 11 - 13) who have moved up from the Junior section, although we welcome players of any age.
The term dates for the First Team are the same as for all other age groups. You can see the term dates here.
The team is entered into the South East League Division One. League matches will be played on Sunday mornings and home fixtures will be played on our pitch on the Covenham Grounds.

We are able to provide volunteering opportunities for Duke of Edinburgh Awards (at Saturday training or helping coach at matches) and assist with GCSE Physical Education in areas such as performance evaluation, skills development and organising abilities. If your daughter is undertaking or considering either of these (or something similar), please do get in touch and we would be delighted to help.
We are able to organise for the girls to take both umpiring and coaching qualifications. This is an excellent way of helping them improve their game but also means that they are able to work in the summer holidays at a wide selection of lacrosse camps as they get older. These additional qualifications will help build their CVs and provide them with a pathway to fun and exciting work opportunities. We will send out details of these courses as they arise but if you have a strong interest already, please do let us know.
As a new initiative, we are going to provide information to members on universities that have a focus on playing lacrosse. The British Universities and Colleges Sports League (BUCS) for Women’s Lacrosse shows league positions by university. Durham and Newcastle University have been awarded ‘High Performing University’ status by the English Lacrosse Association, the first two universities to be given this status. We will keep you informed of any new developments in this area and hope to provide details of players selected for the UK national teams by university in due course.
