First Team training information

Training Times

Saturday 3:30pm to 5:00pm

Our new Saturday training time for the First Team is trial-only till Autumn half-term.  If it is a success and well-attended we will continue it. It will be run predominantly by Phil Collier, well-known as the England Senior Women Head Coach. Kaitlan Biondi, our new U15 Coach (Kaitlan coached for us some years ago before becoming Head of Lacrosse at Stowe School) will coach when Phil Collier is unavailable.  Our Firsts Coach Schyler Neale will continue to accompany and manage the Firsts at their Division One matches on Sundays. Schyler  has played college lacrosse in the USA as well as playing for Team Ireland.  All in all, our Firsts will receive top notch coaching!

Term Dates

The term dates for the First Team are the same as for all other age groups.  You can see the term dates here.

First Team

The team is entered into the South East League Division One. League matches will be played on Sunday mornings and home fixtures will be played on our pitch on the Covenham Grounds.

Lacrosse career development

Duke of Edinburgh Awards and GCSE in Physical Education

We are able to provide volunteering opportunities for Duke of Edinburgh Awards (at Saturday training or helping coach at matches) and assist with GCSE Physical Education in areas such as performance evaluation, skills development and organising abilities. If your daughter is undertaking or considering either of these (or something similar), please do get in touch and we would be delighted to help.

Coaching and Umpiring Qualifications

We are able to organise for the girls to take both umpiring and coaching qualifications. This is an excellent way of helping them improve their game but also means that they are able to work in the summer holidays at a wide selection of lacrosse camps as they get older. These additional qualifications will help build their CVs and provide them with a pathway to fun and exciting work opportunities.

University choices

As a new initiative, we are going to provide information to members on universities that have a focus on playing lacrosse. The British Universities and Colleges Sports League (BUCS) for Women’s Lacrosse shows league positions by university.
