Cobham Lacrosse Kit

We have a smart new design for our shirts, which can be seen in the picture. For girls already in the club, there is no need to purchase the new shirt until you need one. This new design will phase in over time, as shirts are naturally replaced and we will play with both the old and the new design until then. New players will need a shirt number before ordering a shirt. You will need to contact our Membership Secretary who is coordinating the allocation of player shirt numbers.

Once you have your shirt number, you can then submit your uniform order to our Kit Shop. Players' surnames are also printed on the back of the shirts and you can add this information when you place your order.

Our uniform is not mandatory but we would strongly encourage all members to purchase the shirt.  Players look much more professional on the pitch, it eliminates the need for bibs and creates greater uniformity. Cobham skorts, socks, base layers, leggings, rain jackets, hoodies and tracksuits are also available from our Kit Shop. However, all these items are optional and any generic navy skort, shorts or socks are acceptable for matches.

Training kit

We request that girls either wear Cobham kit or neutral sports kit (not school kit) for training sessions.  This avoids visual school divisions and helps the girls integrate into the club.  The exception to this is when girls come directly to training from a school match, although please at least bring a neutral top or sweatshirt to change into.  Suitable waterproof jackets and warm clothing are required in the winter.

Lacrosse Equipment

New members may borrow lacrosse sticks from the club initially.  Gum shields are compulsory for all age groups.  Eye goggles are recommended but not compulsory, in accordance with the ELA guidance; we are aware that school policies vary here.  Studs are also recommended, except in hot weather when the ground is hard and trainers may be more suitable.

Adrenalin Sport in Cobham hold stocks of sticks, gum shields (standard and for braces), eye goggles, stick bags, lacrosse balls and studs.

Custom-made gum shields can be sourced from Top-Guards or Opro

Zenith Lacrosse based in Reigate can supply sticks and crosses and can provide a postal stick restringing service.

You can also order a wide range of equipment online from Hattersleys or UK Lacrosse.

If you are unsure what to order, please speak to our coaches during training and they can help you look at what others in your age group are using.
