Cobham Lacrosse Club is one of the largest women's lacrosse clubs in the south of England. Since it was founded in 2007, it has grown from just 12 girls to the large, thriving club of today. We welcome players from a very a wide catchment area. Our junior members come from schools located across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and London, giving the opportunity for new friendships and training outside of school. We have pitches marked for the 10-aside and 6-aside forms of the women's game. We also offer the opportunity to work toward Duke of Edinburgh assessment in coaching and skills.
Training sessions are led by our head coach, together with other qualified coaching support. We offer training to all age groups, inter club matches and the opportunity to play in the SEWLA Junior League (U13 and U15) and SEWLA Ladies Leagues (U15+) where we are currently in Division One. We welcome complete beginners from the age of 8 (Year 4), to those who wish to play at representative level for their county or country. We work with the national governing bodies in the UK towards this.
If you fancy having a go at lacrosse in a friendly environment, then do get in touch and we'd love to see you. We do not have trials to join, as we welcome players of all abilities at Cobham. See our Sport for All selection policy.
We are proud to be part of the Cobham Sports Association alongside Cobham Rugby, Netball and Tennis.
