Firsts v New Stars 4 Feb 24

One of four matches played against New Stars, this with our Firsts v New Stars 2, was full of drama and a great comeback. Our goalie had to step in at literally the last minute, so the first quarter was one for steadying the nerves. Gradually, our Firsts put their foot on the pedal! We were down 0:7 in the first quarter, then 6:11 at Q2, 7:15 at the end of Q3 and we ended with a very respectable result of 12-16 to New Stars. WELL DONE to our Firsts- what at turnaround, what a game, what tenacity!

Goals were score by Heather (5), Cristina (4), Alice (2) and Ella (1). The U14s who joined us were fantastic, and did a fabulous job considering they'd already played in the U15 match just before.
